plotting a takeover

Not sure why they picked this week to be extra precocious but we are working on learning a few things this week...

Screaming never ever EVER works
When I scream at my friends, they scream back. Then I cry because I don't like when my friends scream at me

When I scream at my teachers, they pick up my body and move me away from my friends. Then I cry because I don't want to stop playing with my friends

Throwing train tracks is never a good idea
When I throw the tracks, they hit my friends. Then I cry because I have to check on them and see if they're okay.

When I throw the tracks, they make a mess. Then I cry because I have to stop playing and (heaven forbid) pick up the tracks I scattered across the floor.

When I throw the tracks, I teach my friends they can throw tracks too. Then I cry because I just got hit by a track that I taught my friend to throw.

Crayons are for drawing on paper
Not on windows
Not on chairs
Not on my body
Not on my friends bodies
and this is why we no longer keeps markers within reach of toddlers

I should be careful what I tell my teacher
Cause when I ask if there is a Baby in her belly she swears to never wear that particular shirt again- oy!

But then I make it up with the following conversation...
When I grow up can I be a teacher?
of course
I'm going to teach the kids how to climb on the slide
safely I can only hope
